I am Edmonton’s women’s health and performance expert. I work with all individuals looking to make small changes to achieve big improvements in their physical and mental health. I am trained in advanced procedures to address a variety of health conditions. I help many men and women who are fatigued, suffering from digestive distress or have hormone imbalances to feel more like themselves and thrive everyday. Life should never be a struggle and I work with my patients to find strategies to help them live a healthy and fulfilling life.
I work on finding the root cause of health issues. In your first visit, we’ll spend an hour reviewing your health history. Through a thorough history taking and any necessary blood work, we will get to the root cause of your symptoms.
I have great success working with patients who have anxiety and/or depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, insomnia or post concussion syndrome. I have helped individuals return to work, school and their social groups after severe depression, anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder. I have helped people who haven’t slept well in years to feel rested and restored after a good night’s sleep. Removing brain fog, fatigue and improving energy after concussion or motor vehicle accident has allowed many of my patients to feel well enough to return to work after several months off.
As an Ironman Triathlete, I love to work with athletes of all abilities and sport preferences. From the weekend warrior to the elite, I’ve worked with athletes to tweak their nutrition or routine to feel stronger, run faster, lose or gain weight and perform better. I have helped runners return to marathons after stress fractures. I’ve helped cyclists and swimmers return to sport after shoulder dislocation or collarbone injury. I’ve assisted people who can’t lift their arm at all to return to full range of motion in 4-6 weeks.
I also feel passionate about Women’s Health. I believe that our hormones are a great source of power when they support us well. Hormonal symptoms like menstrual cramping, headaches, hot flashes and mood-swings should not disrupt your life. Many female athletes suffer from hormone-based issues that disrupt their performance. My job is to help you sort those out so that you can perform at your best.
Fertility, preconception, pregnancy and post-partum care are also passions of mine. I work to find the cause of ‘unexplained’ infertility and/or recurrent pregnancy loss (miscarriage). Preconception work involves optimizing your health before baby. Post-partum care ensures you’re feeling your best after baby is here!
I have advanced training in emergency medical procedures, Intravenous therapy, ozone therapy and oxidative medicine as well as prolotherapy. Read more about IV therapy in Edmonton and other advanced therapies here.
My Mission is to inspire others towards an active, healthy and balanced lifestyle.
